"Thirty-one percent of learning disabled kids are arrested within three to five years out of school; 60 percent of kids in treatment for substance abuse are learning disabled; 62 percent of learning disabled kids are unemployed one year after graduating; and 35 percent of learning disabled kids drop out of high school, according to Wagner's 1991 National Longitudinal Study."
