Over 1,000; from age 1 - 25 usually.

Yes, usually 3 - 6 months, but with last minute cancellations some patients can get in earlier.
4. On the average, how long do you spend face-to-face with a new patient for an initial consultation?
2 hours
5. After the first consultation, what is the average length of an appointment?
30 - 60 minutes, with the option of short 15 minute phone appointments or email communication in between.
6. Are your patients advised to use special diets such as GF/CF, SCD, low-oxalate, etc.?
Yes
7. Can you collaborate with other specialists we will be dealing with (e.g., gastroenterologists)?
Yes, I regularly refer to neurologists, gastroenterologists, allergists, Lyme specialists, etc.
8. Are you willing to collaborate on treatment and testing with a child’s pediatrician if he/she is receptive?
Yes, I routinely try to coordinate with pediatricians, especially to get some testing paid for.
9. Do you or anyone in your office speak languages other than English?
Yes, our nurse practitioner is fluent in Spanish

Yes, patients can page me.

Yes, list price - a fair price.

No, but we provide coded bills and offer insurance reimbursement help.
14. Do you bill for laboratory tests done by commercial laboratories? How do you break down the fees?
We have patients pay for their lab tests directly.
15. Is there a reason you might not bill for an office visit?
In cases of extreme financial hardship. We also have a nonprofit foundation (VAST.org) that will be able to help families in need.
