for examinations - no. for treatment programs, sometimes 2 to 4 weeks
4. On the average, how long do you spend face-to-face with a new patient for an initial consultation?
consult -- 15 minutes ; initial exam -- 90 minutes
5. After the first consultation, what is the average length of an appointment?
30 to 45 minutes
6. Are your patients advised to use special diets such as GF/CF, SCD, low-oxalate, etc.?
yes - we perform initial lab tests and then determine food restrictions, diet and supplements
7. Can you collaborate with other specialists we will be dealing with (e.g., gastroenterologists)?

No. Statements to patients include Diagnosis (ICDA ) and treatment (CPT) codes.
14. Do you bill for laboratory tests done by commercial laboratories? How do you break down the fees?
No. Charge patient for lab fees, phlebotomy
15. Is there a reason you might not bill for an office visit?
Yes. We started a foundation to provide access to care for low income families.
