The last page of the paper contains a copy of the Mercury Detoxification Evaluation Form (MDEF). This form is designed to allow parents to track how well their child is responding to a mercury detox procedure. The MDEF score reflects the severity of the child's symptoms.

• The Adobe Acrobat format will not allow you to record your responses online; but you can print the MDEF, complete it, and send via fax/postal mail to the Autism Research Institute. However, you can complete the MDEF online using your Internet browser and receive a score immediately after you rate your child's behavior.

• You also have the option of reading the position paper online. If you decide to print out a copy, there may be some problems with the format of the paper.
