ARI Proudly Announces:
Recovered Autistic Children!

Since 1967 the Autism Research Institute has led the fight against autism. No other organization - not even the multi-million-dollar giants - not even the Federal Government - can begin to match ARI's 40-year record of achievement. Contrast our achievements with the goal announced at the medical establishment's 2003 "Autism Summit" in Washington, D.C.: to develop drugs that would lessen the symptoms of autism, in 7 to 10 years!

  • We were the first, in the 1960s, to call attention to the great value of behavioral (ABA) training.
  • We were the first, still in the 1960s, to call attention to the benefits of high-dose vitamin supplementation, and to the value of gluten- and casein-free diets.
  • During the 70s, 80s and early 90s we conducted and funded research and strongly advocated these and other safe, non-drug approaches to treating autistic children.
  • We were the first, in 1995, to call attention to the "autism epidemic" and to point to excessive vaccines as a possible cause. (The others laughed, but it is now clear that we were right.)
  • We initiated the Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) project in 1995 to accelerate the dismally slow process of developing safe and effective biomedical treatments targeted at curing the children.
  • We funded qualified researchers whose ideas, often implicating the mercury and viruses in vaccines, were "politically incorrect," and who could thus never hope to get funding from NIH or the larger autism research foundations.
  • AND--WE ARE BRINGING ABOUT RECOVERY!

While there is still a long way to go, recovery from autism is now no longer a dream, but, in an increasing number of cases, a REALITY.

Donors of $35 or more will receive a DVD (or VHS video, your choice) of the historical introduction by Lou Diamond Phillips of recovered autistic children at the DAN! Conference. The DVD also contains much additional footage of the children, their proud, happy, and very articulate parents, and talks by the leaders of the Defeat Autism Now! movement.

We depend on people like you for our support. We don't do golf tournaments, runs, walks, or celebrity balls.* Instead, we focus on curing the children.

ARI needs your help to continue our winning war against autism. Our ARI team is on the verge of several important and exciting treatment breakthroughs. Please help us with a generous tax-deductible donation today.

PLEASE HELP!

Yours for the children,
Bernard Rimland, Ph.D.
